  • Apollo Global Management is investing $300 million in Cimpressan Irish printing services provider. Financial terms weren’t disclosed.
  • Blackstone acquired a near 7% stake in Energy Transfer, a transporter of natural gases and crude oils, including shares held by Harvest Fund Advisors, per Bloomberg citing sources. Financial terms weren’t disclosed.
  • HealthpointCapital acquired IlluminOss Medicalan East Providence, RI-based provider of technologies for fracture repairs.
  • Cinven and Advent, the private equity firms behind planned Europe’s largest deal in a decade, are seeking other investors to help them pay for the €17.2 billion acquisition for Thyssenkrupp’s elevator business, per the Financial Times citing sources.
  • KPS Capital Partners agreed to acquire Lufkin, a Missouri City, Texas-based maker of rod lift products, from Baker Hughes (NYSE: BKR).  Financial terms weren’t disclosed.
  • Ocean Link, Warburg Pincus, and General Atlantic have offered to buy 58.com, a Chinese classified ads marketplace, for roughly $8.2 billion.
  • AE Industrial Partners acquired Adcole Maryland Aerospace, a Marlborough, Mass.-based provider of satellite components. Financial terms weren’t disclosed.
  • Spectrum Equity invested in OurFamilyWizard, a Minneapolis, Minn.-based co-parenting application. Financial terms weren’t disclosed.
  • Vander-Bend Manufacturing, a portfolio company of Aterian Investment Partners, acquired TMK Manufacturing, a Santa Clara, Calif.-based specialty prototyping and precision machining provider. Financial terms weren’t disclosed.
  • Macquarie Capital Principal Finance ​acquired a majority stake in Multifuels Midstream Group, a Houston-based operator of lateral natural gas pipelines and related infrastructure in the U.S. Financial terms weren’t disclosed.
  • MPK Equity Partners and Princeton Equity Group invested in Restoration 1, a Waco, Texas-based property restoration company and sister brand Bluefrog Plumbing + Drain, a plumbing franchise.
  • Warburg Pincus invested in Polyplus-transfection SA, a Illkirch, France-based, developer of gene and cell therapies, alongside the existing majority shareholder, ArchiMed. Financial terms weren’t disclosed.

PEG PIPELINE

• The Blackstone Group is nearing a $1.8 billion agreement to purchase the U.S. real estate assets of Swedish pension manager Alecta, according to Bloomberg.

• Brixey & Meyer Capital has acquired Stillwater Technologies, a Troy, Ohio-based provider of precision machining and resistance welding solutions to multiple industries, from Bill and Wanda Lukens. No financial terms were disclosed.www.stlwtr.com

• Cogentrix Solar Holdings, a Charlotte, N.-based portfolio company of The Carlyle Group, has agreed to sell a Colorado solar power plant to Korea Electric Power Corp. for an undisclosed amount. KEPCO and Carlyle also signed a separate power company development partnership.

• CVC Capital Partners has agreed to acquire a 15% stake in Indonesian hospital operator PT Siloam International Hospitals for around $166 million from majority owner PT Lippo Karawaci.

• MBK Partners has abandoned plans to acquire Japanese golf course operatorAccordia Golf Co. (Tokyo: 2131) after a recent spike in the company’s stock price, according to Reuters. The deal would have valued Accordia at upwards of $1.6 billion. Read more.

• Nutanix, a San Jose, Calif.-based provider of datacenter infrastructure solutions, has agreed to acquire PernixData and has completed an acquisition of Calm.io. No financial terms were disclosed for either deal. PernixData is a San Jose, Calif.-based maker of software that aggregates all the flash-based storage that comes with servers into one sharable pool. Its backers include Menlo Ventures, Kleiner Perkins and Lightspeed Venture Partners. Calm.io is an India-based data center automation company that had been backed by Sequoia Capital India. Nutanix, which filed for an IPO last December, has raised over $300 million in VC funding from firms like Lightspeed.

• Quadrant Private Equity has acquired WorldMark, an Australian provider of auto add-on products like window tint to car dealerships, from Navis Capital Partners. No financial terms were disclosed. Read more.

• TDR Capital has hired Goldman Sachs and ABG Sundal Collier to find a buyer for Norwegian cruise operator Hurtigruten ASA, according to Bloomberg. Possible suitors reportedly include Bain Capital, EQT Partners and TPG Capital. Hurtigruten is generating around €135 million in annual EBITDA.

• TriStyle Mode GmbH, a German direct fashion retailer owned by Equistone Partners Europe, has acquired Long Tall Sally, a UK-based long/tall women’s apparel maker. No financial terms were disclosed. The seller was Amery Capital.www.longtallsally.com

• Nutanix, a San Jose, Calif.-based provider of datacenter infrastructure solutions, has agreed to acquire PernixData and has completed an acquisition of Calm.io.   • China Huarong Asset Management Co Ltd., a state-owned investment manager, is in talks with several private equity firms about a share sale that could raise more than $2 billion, according to Reuters. Suitors include Bain Capital, The Blackstone Group, BlackRock and KKR.www.chamc.com.cn
  • Crestview Partners and B-29 Investments have acquired a control stake in Texoma Transportation & Crude Marketing LLC, a provider of crude oil purchasing, gathering and transportation services to the oil and gas industry.   • Summit Materials has acquired both Alleyton Resource and its Colorado Gulf affiliate, which operates sand & gravel sites and ready-mix concrete plants. No financial terms were disclosed.   •  TI Automotive, a UK-based auto parts maker, has received a buyout bid from Pamplona Capital Management, according to Bloomberg. This could complicate ongoing sale talks with Bain Capital, which are said to be in the range of $2 billion. TI backers currently include Oaktree Capital Group LLC and Duquesne Capital Management, based on a 2007 debt restructuring.www.tiautomotive.com

The Blackstone Group and GIC each are nearing deals to acquire 30% stakes in UK pension insurer Rothesay Life from Goldman Sachs, according to the FT. Mass Mutual would acquire an additional 6% position. The deals would value Rothesay Life at approximately £900 million.www.rothesaylife.co.uk

Bregal Partners has acquired US Community Behavioral, a provider of community-based residential and behavioral services to adults and children with intellectual and developmental disabilities in the western United States. No financial terms were disclosed.www.bregalpartners.com

Cave Creek Capital Management has led an acquisition of QK Holdings LLC, the largest Denny’s franchisee in the United States. No financial terms were disclosed. Co-investors include Stewart Capital and Seacoast Capital. Senior lenders were GE Capital, National Bank of Arizona and Alliance Bank of Arizona.

Centerbridge Partners has acquired a minority equity stake in Syncreon Holdings Ltd., an Auburn Hills, Mich.–based provider of customized supply chain services. No financial terms were disclosed. Existing shareholders like GenNx360 Capital Partners will retain equity ownership positions. www.syncreon.com

First Reserve has agreed to acquire Utility Services Associates, a provider of maintenance, repair, rebuild and construction services for power transmission and distribution infrastructure in the Eastern U.S. No financial terms were disclosed for the deal, though which company management will retain an equity interest. www.firstreserve.com

Kohlberg Kravis Roberts & Co. has agreed to acquire Mitchell International, a San Diego-based provider of claims technology and software solutions, from Aurora Capital Group. No financialterms were disclosed, although Reuters reports an enterprise value of approximately $1.1 billion.www.mitchell.com

Kohlberg Kravis Roberts & Co. is in pole position to gain preferential negotiating rights in the auction for Panasonic Corp.‘s healthcare unit, according to Reuters. The deal could be worth $1.5 billion, with other bidders including Toshiba Corp. and a consortium of Bain Capital, Mitsui & Co. and the Development Bank of Japan. www.kkr.com

Navis Capital has acquired Guardian Early Learning Group, an Australian child-care center operator, according to the WSJ. The deal reportedly was worth around A$120 million.www.naviscapital.com

OnCourse Learning, a portfolio company of The Riverside Company, has acquired BankersEdge, a Norristown, Penn.-based provider of regulatory, employment, and leadership training. No financial terms were disclosed. www.bankersedge.com

  • Energy Capital Partners (www.ecpartners.com/ ) has agreed to acquire three merchant generation power stations fromDominion (NYSE: D). No financial terms were disclosed. The stations are in Illinois and Massachusetts.www.dom.com 
  • Equistone Partners Europe (www.equistonepe.com ) has acquired a majority stake in Bretèche Industrie Group, a France-based provider of manufacturing and production equipment for the agro-food, pharmaceutical and cosmetics industries. The seller was Azulis Capital, while Céréa Capital co-invested alongside Equistone. No financial terms were disclosed. www.breteche.com
  • Heart to Heart Hospice, ( www.hearttohearthospice.com )  a Plano, Texas-based provider of hospice care, has secured a minority equity investment from Summit Partners.
  • Hostess Brands (www.hostess.com ) formally announced that it would sell its snack cake business, including Twinkies, toApollo Global Management and C. Dean Metropoulos. The two firms had previously been named “stalking horse” bidders, and Hostess says it did not receive any subsequent offers. 
  • Source Refrigeration & HVAC (www.sourcerefrigeration.com ) a portfolio company of Arsenal Capital Partners, has acquired TP Electrical, a White, Ga.-based provider of electrical and EMS contracting to commercial clients in the Southeastern United States. 
  • Thomsons Online Benefits Ltd. ( www.vss.com ) a provider of SaaS-based benefit and pension administration, workflow and reporting solutions, has raised an undisclosed amount of private equity funding from Veronis Suhler Stevenson.
  • TPG Capital ( www.tpg.com )has won the auction for Australian poultry producer Inghams Enterprises at an enterprise value reported to be between A$900 million and $1 billion. TPG beats out The Blackstone Group, in a process managed by Investec Bank. www.inghams.com.au

  • TripWire (www.tripwire.com) , a provider of IT security and compliance automation software, has acquired nCircle, a San Francisco-based provider of information risk and security performance management solutions. No financial terms were disclosed. TripWire is owned by Thoma Bravo, while nCircle raised VC funding from such firms as Alta Partners, JK&B Capital, Guide Ventures and Menlo Ventures. 
  • W.H. Smith Co. (www.whsmithco.com )a maker of hose assemblies and other products for the U.S. Department of Defense and commercial clients, has acquired the IP and select assets of LaBargeProducts Inc., a St. Louis-based maker of critical systems and components for expeditionary military operations.
