Catavolt, an Alpharetta, Ga.-based provider of a cloud middleware enterprise mobility platform, has raised $5 million in Series B funding. Toba Capital led the round, and was joined by return backer FCA Venture Partners. www.catavolt.com

 Change Healthcare, a Brentwood, Tenn.-based provider of healthcare consumer engagement and cost transparency solutions, has raised $15 million in new VC funding. HLM Venture Partners led the round, and was joined by Noro-Moseley Partners and return backers BlueCross BlueShield Venture Partners, Sandbox Industries, Mitsui & Co., Gary and Mary West Health Investment Fund and Solidus Co. www.changehealthcare.com

CloudPhysics, a Mountain View, Calif.-based provider of operations management solutions for virtualized workloads, has raised $10 million in Series B funding. Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byersled the round, and was joined by return backers like Mayfield Fund. www.cloudphysics.com

  • Janrain, a Portland, Ore.-based user management platform for social web portals, has raised $33 million in new VC funding. Millennium Technology Value Partners led the round, as first reported by TechCrunch.
