• Nozomi Networks Inc, a San Francisco-based provider of real-time cybersecurity and operational visibility for industrial control systems, raised $30 million in Series C funding. Investors include Planven Investments SA, GGV Capital, Lux Capital, Energize Ventures and THI Investments.

• Softomotive, a company focused on Robotic Process Automation (RPA), raised $25 million in Series A funding, from Grafton Capital.

• Netradyne, a San Diego, Calif.-based company developing artificial intelligence technology focusing on driver and fleet safety, raised $21 million in Series B funding. Investors include Reliance Industries Limited (through its subsidiary RIIHL) M12, and Point72 Ventures.

• Guardhat, a Detroit-based internet of things industrial safety technology developer, raised $20 million in Series A funding. RTP Ventures led the round, and was joined by investors including 3M Ventures, Caterpillar Venture Capital, Revolution’s Rise of the Rest Seed Fund, SVB and DVP.

• LiveSafe, an Arlington, Va.-based provider of a mobile safety communications platform, raised $11 million in Series B-1 funding. Investors include Hearst, Enterprise Investment Partners, L.P, IAC, Dave Duffield, Revolution’s Rise of the Rest Seed Fund, GXPI, and the Kilberg family.

2nd Watch Inc., a Seattle-based builder and manager of AWS-based IT operations for enterprise applications, has raised $23 million in growth equity funding. Columbia Capital led the round, and was joined by Madrona Venture Group. www.2ndwatch.com

NEA new enterprise associates

Terrajoule, a Redwood City, Calif.-based developer of a tech platform for distributed energy generation, energy storage and efficiency, has raised $11.5 million in Series A funding. Backers include New Enterprise Associates, ALIAD and individual investors. www.terrajoulecorp.com

Midatech Ltd., a UK-based developer of nanomedicines based on biocompatible gold-nanoparticles, has raised £10 million in new VC funding led by Swiss investment firm Ippon Capital.www.midatechgroup.com

Entouch Controls,, has raised $8.25 million in Series B equity and debt financing. SJF Ventures led the round, and was joined by NRG Energy and return backer Trailblazer Capital. The debt came from Comerica Bank. www.entouchcontrols.com

CyPhy Works, a Danvers, Mass.-based developer of unmanned aerial vehicles, has raised $7 million in new VC funding. Lux Capital led the round, and was joined by General Catalyst Partners, Felicis Ventures and individual angels. www.cyphyworks.com

Seeq Corp., a Seattle-based provider of software that transforms industrial process data from sensors and instrument systems into useful information and actionable intelligence, has raised $6 million in Series A funding. Second Avenue Partners led the round, and was joined by Madrona Venture Group, Clear Fir Partners, Gaylord Kellogg and John Meisenbach. www.seeq.com

Bambeco Inc., a Baltimore-based maker of home furnishings and décor for “eco-conscious” consumers, has raised $4.5 million in first-round funding. New Atlantic Ventures led the round, and was joined by the Maryland Venture Fund and individual angels. www.bambeco.com

Zola, a New York-based wedding registry website, has raised $3.25 million in Series A funding led byThrive Capital. Company co-founder and chairman Kevin Ryan also participated. www.zola.com

SiTime Corp., a Sunnyvale, Calif.-based chipmaker, has raised an undisclosed amount of VC funding led by Innovative Venture Fund (co-managed by NEC Capital Solutions and SMBC Venture Capital). The company also secured an undisclosed amount of venture debt funding from Hercules Technology Growth Capital. www.sitime.com

, a San Francisco-based service for letting users track and share calorie intake and other health and wellness data, has raised $18 million in its first round of outside funding (the company launched in 2005). Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers led the deal, and was joined by Accel Partners.www.myfitnesspal.com

ReelGenie, a Maryland-based online service that creates videos from a customer’s photos and digital media, secured $850,000 in seed funding from investors including CNF Investments, the Maryland Venture Fund, faculty members from the Wharton School, and angel investors. www.reelgenie.com 

SigmaCare, an electronic medical records company, has secured new equity funding from health care investment firm Marlin Equity Partners and existing investors. No financial terms were disclosed.www.sigmacare.com

SilkRoad, a Chicago-based provider of cloud-based talent management solutions, has raised $16 million in new VC funding. Backers include Foundation Capital, Intel Capital, Azure Capital Partners, Keating Capital and Crosslink Ventures, SilkRoad has now raised a total of $145 million.www.silkroad.com
TextbookRental.ca, a Toronto-based start-up, closed on a $415,000 seed round led by Seek Capital,techvibes.com reports.

Tegile Systems, a Newark, Calif.-based provider of hybrid storage arrays for virtualized server and virtual desktop environments, has raised $35 million in Series C funding. Meritech Capital Partners led the round, and was joined by Western Digital (Nasdaq: WDC), SanDisk (Nasdaq: SNDK) and return backer August Capital. www.tegile.com

TheFamily, a French startup accelerator, has raised an undisclosed amount of funding from Index Ventures. TechCrunch reports that the investment is “just under” €1 million.” www.thefamily.co
