Cal Net Technology Group, a Chatsworth, Calif. -based customer support services provider, will acquire inhouseIT, a provider of managed IT services in Orange County. Cal Net is a portfolio company of Boathouse Capital and Olympic Valley Capital.

Clayton, Dubilier & Rice is in talks to acquire Drive DeVilbiss, a Port Washington, N.Y.-based wheelchair manufacturer, for about $750 million, according to Reuters.

CVR Energy, a Texas-based refiner owned by Carl Icahn, is preparing an offer forDelek U.S. Holdings, a refiner in Arkansas and Texas, according to The New York Post. Read more.

FIMI is in advanced discussions to acquire the Israeli subsidiary of British security giant G4S, according to Haaretz. The deal could reportedly be valued at $104.9 million. Read more. 

First Reserve portfolio company Saddle Barnett Resources has agreed to acquire the interests of Chesapeake Energy Corporation (NYSE: CHK) in the Barnett Shale operating area in North Texas.

Platinum Equity has agreed to acquire Electro Rent Corporation (NASDAQ: ELRC), a seller and renter of computing equipment, for about $382

PAI Partners will acquire Roompot Vakanties, a Netherlands-based provider of recreation parks.

Stem, a provider of energy storage solutions based in Millbrae, Calif., has raised up to $100 million in financing from affiliates of Starwood Energy Group 

Valentus Specialty Chemicals, a portfolio company of Huron CapitalPartners, has acquired the wood floor finishes business of New Rochelle, N.Y.-based Paint Over Rust Products. No financial terms were disclosed.

Wellspring Capital Management is selling National Seating & Mobility, a provider of custom mobility, rehab, and adaptive seating systems based in Franklin, Tenn., to Court Square Capital Partners. Terms were not disclosed.

Cloud Technology Partners, a Boston-based provider of cloud-based enterprise transformation solutions, has raised $5 million in Series B funding led by Oak Investment

Collegefeed, a crowdsourced social career marketplace for college students, has raised $1.8 million in a VC funding round led by Accel

Green Mountain Digital, maker of the Yonder photo/video sharing app focused on outdoor recreation, a Woodstock, Vt.-based, has raised $3.8 million in Series B funding from Monster Worldwide (NYSE: MWW), the Vermont Seed Capital fund and individual angels.

Infraredx Inc.
, a Burlington, Mass.-based developer of medical devices for the diagnosis and management of coronary artery disease, has raised $25 million in equity funding from existing strategic partner Nipro Corp. (Tokyo: 8086). The company previously raised more than $150 million from investors like Sanderling Ventures.

Maginatics, a Mountain View, Calif.-based provider of storage solutions for distributed enterprises, has raised $17 million in Series B funding. Intel Capital led the round, and was joined by WestSummit Capital, Comcast Ventures and return backers Atlantic Bridge and VMware.

MicuRx Pharmaceuticals Inc., a Hayward, Calif.-based developer of antibiotics to combat infections due to resistant bacteria, has raised $25 million in Series B funding. BVCF led the round, and was joined by return backers Morningside Group and Devon Park Bioventures., a UK-based platform that lets customers sponsor independent winemakers in exchange for discounts, has raised $10 million in third-round funding from Germany’s WIV Wein International

NoRedInk, a developer of online grammar courses and tracking solutions, has raised $2 million in VC funding. Backers include Charles River Ventures, Google Ventures, Learn Capital and Social+Capital Partnership.

SugarCRM, a Cupertino, Calif.-based provider of customer relationship management solutions, has raised $40 million in equity funding from Goldman Sachs. Piper Jaffray & Co. served as placement agent. The company previously raised over $78 million in equity and debt financing from New Enterprise Associates, Draper Fisher Jurvetson, Walden International, Silicon Valley Bank and Gold Hill Capital.

Taggo, a Singapore-based marketing platform that turns merchant Facebook pages into loyalty clubs, has raised an undisclosed amount of Series A funding from Jungle Ventures and Spring Seed

TagMan, a New York City-based provider of tag management and marketing data solutuions, manages online data, has raised $5 million in third-round funding. Return backers were Greycroft Partners andiNovia Capital were joined by Silicon Valley Bank.

TissueTech Inc., a Doral, Fla.-based regenerative tissue engineering company, has raised $10 million in VC funding from Ballast Point Ventures and River Cities Capital

TrendKite, an Austin, Texas-based developer of predictive analytics for media mentions, has raised $1.2 million in Series A funding. Silverton Partners led the round, and was joined by DreamIt Ventures and individual angels.

Everspin Technologies, a Chandler, Ariz.-based developer of magnetic RAM products, has raised $15 million in Series B funding. Investors include New Venture Partners, Sigma Partners, Lux Capital, Draper Fisher Jurvetson and Epic Ventures.

ReelGenie, a Maryland-based online service that creates videos from a customer’s photos and digital media, secured $850,000 in seed funding from investors including CNF Investments, the Maryland Venture Fund, faculty members from the Wharton School, and angel investors.

SilkRoad, a Chicago-based provider of cloud-based talent management solutions, has raised $16 million in new VC funding. Backers include Foundation Capital, Intel Capital, Azure Capital Partners, Keating Capital and Crosslink Ventures, SilkRoad has now raised a total of $145, a Toronto-based start-up, closed on a $415,000 seed round led by Seek Capital, reports.

Tegile Systems, a Newark, Calif.-based provider of hybrid storage arrays for virtualized server and virtual desktop environments, has raised $35 million in Series C funding. Meritech Capital Partners led the round, and was joined by Western Digital (Nasdaq: WDC), SanDisk (Nasdaq: SNDK) and return backer August Capital.

TheFamily, a French startup accelerator, has raised an undisclosed amount of funding from Index Ventures. TechCrunch reports that the investment is “just under” €1 million.”

  • Apperian Inc., a Boston-based provider of enterprise mobile application management solutions, has raised an undisclosed amount of strategic funding from Intel Capital.   •  Manhattan Labs, a regional clinical laboratory serving the New York tri-state area, has raised $3.7 million in VC funding led by return backer Trevi Health Capital.
  • Prosper, a San Francisco-based peer-to-peer lending platform, has raised $20 million in new VC funding. Sequoia Capital led the round, and was joined by return backers like Accel Partners, Draper Fisher Jurvetson, Crosslink Capital, Omidyar Network, TomorrowVentures and Volition Capital. The company also said that it has hired former Wells Fargo executive Stephan Vermut as
  • Puppet Labs, a Portland, Ore.-based provider of IT automation software for system administrators, has raised $30 million in equity funding from VMWare Inc. (NYSE: V). The company previously raised around $15.5 million from VMWare, Cisco Systems, Google Ventures, Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers, True Ventures and Radar Partners.
  • Simply Measured, a Seattle-based provider of social media analytics, has raised $8 million in new VC funding. Bessemer Venture Partners led the round, and was joined by MHS Capital and existing angel investors.

  • Keek, a Toronto-based social video networking platform, has raised C$18 million in new VC funding. Backers include AGF Investments, Pinetree Capital, Plazacorp Ventures and Cranson
  • Levels Beyond, a Denver-based provider of media management and monetization capabilities for video content producers, has raised $4.5 million in Series A funding from TVC Capital.
  • LoopMe, a London-based developer of a mobile ad management solution, has raised $500,000 in seed funding from a group of individual angels that includes Russell Buckley (ex-AdMob) and Peter Barry (ex-Vodafone Ventures).
  • OpenX Software Ltd., a Los Angeles-based provider of digital and mobile advertising revenue products and services, has raised $22.5 million in Series E funding. Samsung Venture Investment Corp. led the round, and was joined by return backers Accel Partners, Index Ventures, SAP Ventures, Mitsui & Co. Global Investment and Presidio Ventures.
  • Optoro, a Lanham, Md.-based provider of asset recovery solutions for distressed inventory, has raised $7.5 million in Series A-1 funding. Grotech Ventures led the round, and was joined by return backers SJF Ventures and QED. The company previously raised nearly $3 million in Series A
