Covagen, a Swedish developer of protein therapeutics for cancer and inflammatory disease, has raised around $6.4 million in Series B funding. The deal also includes an option to add another $2.14 million. Indi Molecular, a Culver City, Calif.-based developer of synthetic replacements for antibodies, has raised $1.8 million in seed funding. InterWest Partners led the round, and was joined by Asset Management Ventures. www.IndiMolecular.com

PaeDae, a mobile rewards startup, has raised $11.6 million in new equity and debt funding. Backers include 3G Capital, Grind Games and Silicon Valley Bank. www.paedae.com

Prairie Cloudware, an Omaha, Neb.-based mobile payment solution for bank and credit union customers, has raised $1.65 million in new VC funding. Treetop Ventures and Croghan Investmentsco-led the round, and were joined by Nebraska Global, Nelnet, Tetrad Corp. and individual angels.www.pairiecloudware.com

Novomer, a Waltham, Mass.-based developer of environmentally-responsible polymers and chemical intermediates, has raised an undisclosed amount of new VC funding. Saudi Aramco Energy Venturesled the round, and was joined by return backers DSM Venturing, Health Evolution Partners, Flagship Ventures, OVP Venture Partners and Physic Ventures. www.novomer.com
